Way back in the Dark
Ages (pre-pc that is) we
all used to write little
scribbled notes on
scraps of paper to
remind ourselves, and
others, of jobs to do,
forthcoming events etc.,
in fact many of us
(myself included) still
do.
Then some bright spark
realised there was an
excellent commercial
opportunity here and
"Post-It" notes were
invented.
Remember those little
squares of colored paper
with a self adhesive
edge on which you could
write your note then
conveniently stick the
note on the fridge, the
bathroom mirror or even
on your forehead -
wherever it was likely
to be noticed, read and
acted on.
